We are the “The Most Worshipful National Grand Lodge of Ancient Egyptian Freemasons” organization owner of the egyptianfreemasonry.org website.

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.
How we protect your data
We protect customer data with the following site features:
- We are entirely using SSL/HTTPS throughout all our sites. This encrypts our user communications with the servers so personal identifiable information is never captured by third parties without authorization.
- Databases are sanitized (actual user personal details are removed) before deploying to development or testing environment.
In case of a data breach, System administrators will immediately go through affected users and will attempt to reset passwords if needed after informing the user.
If you have an account with us, note that you have to keep your username and password secret.

The Way We Use Information
We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.

We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to be used by our sales and marketing departments.

About the Emails We Send
We use a third-party email service to send our email newsletters. While you will receive transactional emails from us regarding the status of orders you place, no marketing email will ever be sent to you without your express and deliberate opt-in to our email lists. Any information you provide us, such as your email address, to contact you will be used only for that purpose. 
If ever you decide to opt-out of receiving marketing materials from us, there are links included in every email that is sent to enable you to remove yourself from our list(s). You can also manage your email contact preferences by emailing information3@egyptianfreemasonry.org and indicate the email lists from which you would like to be removed.

Analytics
We may receive and store information from users who visit our website from services such as Google Analytics.

 

Contact forms
Information submitted through the contact forms on our site are sent to our company email, hosted by Microsoft. Microsoft adheres to the EU “Privacy Shield” policy.
While we keep these submissions for customer service purposes they are never used for marketing purposes or shared with third parties.

Who we share your data with
Facebook: By clicking “like” or adding a comment in the Facebook comment section of any page you will be providing Facebook with data about yourself.
Sendinblue: For sending out larger group emails we use Sendinblue service and emails to you will be routed through their servers.
PayPal – we use Paypal as one of our payment processor. During checkout, a client will provide login information and credit card info. This information is processed directly within this gateway payment and we do not save it on our sites.
Stripe – we use Stripe as one of our payment processor. During checkout, a client will provide credit card info. These are all stored in the Stripe site.
We don’t share your data with third-parties in a way as to reveal any of your personal information like email, name, etc. However, some data is transferred and/or stored with third-party services we use, like cloud-based services and payment processors. This is done as a way to provide you with a better overall service and user experience. At no time is your credit card information stored on our servers. We cannot see your credit card number at all other than the last 4 digits as reported by this service for verification purposes.

 

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Any form data is kept indefinitely as well but will be removed upon your request.

 

Who can see my personal information
If you are not a registered client in our site, there is no personal information we have or can see about you. If you are registered with us, your personal information can be accessed from your profile when your Log-in and by our System administrator

 

Passively Collected Information
When you access our Website, we may automatically collect your computer or device's internet protocol (IP) address and other technical information about your computer or device and website usage, such as your browser type and version, time zone setting, and operating system and platform. This information is only used to prevent malicious use of our websites and is regularly removed from our systems.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Our Commitment to Children's Privacy
Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never authorize access, registration or orders from minors under 18.

 

What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
